How do thin people stay thin?  I recently read a few habits of skinny folk and they made a lot of sense.  One of them was that when they are full they don't continue to eat.  So eat slowly and when you are half way through, think about how you feel and if you actually do need to finish the food on your plate.  Another tip is that they don't consider a few hunger pangs to be an emergency. The best tip I think was that thin people don't eat more because of their feelings.  In other words, they don't indulge in emotional eating.  When you read about the celebs they usually eat less or hit the gym more frequently when they are stressed.  Always be mindful when you eat, do not eat when you are distracted by tv or while you are reading. Stay focused. Remember this - "Nothing is going to taste as good as feeling fit does!"

What drink will keep your brain young? The answer is tea. Green tea or black tea. Hot tea or iced tea. It doesn't matter. Tea may be the brain's fountain of youth. Regular consumption of either green or black tea seems to reduce the risk of age-related degenerative brain disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease, according to researchers from the Douglas Hospital Research Centre at McGill University in Canada. That's right. You may be able to protect your brain later from the ravages of dementia by drinking tea now.

How can you look slim without dieting?

  1. Suck in your stomach. (This is also good exercise.)
  2. Sit up straight. (Your Momma was right)
  3. Wear a single color. Dressing in monochromatic tones. Ex. Different shades of blue.
  4. Wear dark denim jeans and heels.
  5. Tuck your shirt in and do not wear oversized shirts.
  6. Long necklaces are slimming.
